Rat or Mice Infestation?
Rodents are disease carriers that can quickly multiply in your house or sheds if left unchecked. Significant indicators will be droppings found around or inside the house, chewed up paper or materials used for nesting, as well as the noticeable stench of rodent urine.
Rats and Mice seek warmth in winter and often end up in roof voids and wall cavities during cold winter nights.
Rats have been known to start fires in houses after chewing through electrical cables, they chew through modern plastic water pipes, flooding and collapsing ceilings. If you have pets such as dogs, cats, birds, chickens etc, make sure your pet food is stored in substantial containers as the food is extremely attractive to rats and mice. If you have heard scratching or bumping in the walls or ceiling during the night, call us to attend and investigate – it could be rodents.
