Wasp Pest Control
Our Services
Australian Paper Wasps have recently become a major pest problem in the Hawkesbury, Blacktown and Hills Districts. Sometimes mistakenly called European Wasps, they are similar but definitely not the same. If we come across Paper Wasp nests during our regular General Pest Control treatments – we treat them at no extra charge. However, if you find an active Paper Wasp nest (brownish grey paper honeycomb) around your house, please contact us straight away and arrange to have it treated and removed.

European wasps are slightly smaller than our Yellow Paper Wasp, they have black antennae, and predominantly nest underground. If you see wasps flying in and out of a hole in the ground – call us urgently as these are very aggressive wasps and are known to attack in large numbers to defend their nest.
DO NOT GO near it! Please call us urgently to attend and destroy the nest.
Mud Daubers and Potter Wasps are normally not aggressive if you ignore them and let them go about their business. They are very efficient pest controllers as they spend their time collecting spiders from around your property. Unfortunately, they build numerous mud nests at a time on your walls, and if you live in a high wasp population area – they come in numbers!
Scraping these mud casings off the wall during the night should eventually discourage the wasps, however we recommend this is done by an expert as a sting from one of these wasps is not very pleasant.
Call us to arrange removal!
