A growing pest problem

Ants are becoming one of the biggest invasive pest problems of eastern NSW. During the deluge of rain and floods in 2022 and 2023, ants moved colonies into the walls of houses and structures seeking drier conditions. Many of the colonies have since grown into huge networks of highly developed insects that want to share your kitchen, pantry and bathroom. Coastal Brown and small Black ants are at the biggest numbers that we have encountered in recent years.
